As we drove from one farm to another, Janet signaled us to stop. She got out and stood looking at a farm that was not due to be inspected that day. I asked what the problem was, and she directed my attention to the ground around the plants, "Roundup™" she said. "Roundup™" is a popular herbicide that is used by farmers to keep weeds under control around the base of the plants.
    This gave me an opportunity to see the difference between the healthy vibrant plants on the organic farms and the anemic plants that are fed chemicals, and subject to such harsh treatment as herbicides... and that are deprived of the natural life that would normally be found around healthy growing plants.
