About SKALInt- the EKO symbol is an ecological certification for sustainable production. SKAL is accredited under the most stringent guidelines in the world, Regulation CEE No. 2092/91.
~Tesoros del Sol specifically selected SKAL for its certification agency, recognizing that sustainable production involved more than just the use of organic fertilizers. SKAL certification requires adherence to its strict guidelines for: ecosystem conservation (protection and re-establishment of native plant species and wildlife), soil and water conservation, energy conservation, waste management, and sustainable livelihoods for producers and workers (fair farming practices), as well as organic growing and processing methods.
